Community Assistance Program

WARM has partnered with the Houston Food Bank to provide direct access to application and technical assistance for state-funded social and health services programs. CAP personnel are available in WARM’s client services office from 10 am to 3 pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month.

These state programs include the following:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash benefits

  • Children’s Medicaid

  • Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

  • Women’s Health Program (Family Planning, Health screenings thru Medicaid Program)

  • CHIP Perinatal Program
