Volunteer Opportunities
Professionals built the Titanic; Volunteers built the Ark. Give of your time and talent to transform the lives of families in need.
The WARM staff relies heavily on our community volunteers to effectively achieve our mission. We have volunteering opportunities in the Thrift Store, Donation Drop Off, Food Pantry, and more.
Before You Apply
Thank you for considering WARM for volunteering or your community service requirement. WARM is open Monday - Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM. We ask that, when you Volunteer or do Community Service, you are able to give us at least 2 hours of your time. Completing the application process does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Service placement is at the discretion of WARM, we place individuals to work in areas with the highest need. If you have questions, scroll past the buttons below to read the detailed information about volunteering and community service.

Once the Background Check is complete (48-72 hours), we will contact you to schedule an orientation and begin your volunteering journey.
School, Club, or Other Service Hours
We are happy to have you!! Please complete the Volunteer Application, which will follow the same process as a volunteer (see the previous section). As you serve, we will gladly fill out your organization’s paperwork for your service requirement.
Court-Ordered Community Service
To apply, please read the Volunteer Standards & Guidelines and complete the Court-Ordered Community Service Application. If you are approved, we will reach out to you to set up an orientation and schedule you for your community service journey
Volunteer Standards & Guidelines
To help your volunteer service be as fruitful and enjoyable as possible, we have developed the Volunteer Standards & Guidelines. We created WARM's Standards & Guidelines to communicate what you can expect from WARM and what WARM expects from you as a volunteer. While volunteering at WARM, we ask that you carefully observe these Standards & Guidelines.
Group Volunteering
Perhaps you are looking for opportunities for your office, Sunday school class, or other organization. Let us work with you to put together a project and get you signed up. Please use the Group Volunteer Application to tell us more about your group’s volunteering needs.
Minors Volunteering
WARM allows for minors to volunteer; you must be in Jr. or Sr. High School. You must be 16 or older to volunteer by yourself. Those under 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian or chaperone as part of a group (i.e. church youth group).
Volunteer Screening
All volunteers of WARM are subject to a background check. These checks help protect WARM, our employees, care recipients, and volunteers.
